Welcome to Friday. Smile!
I bought a book — Time Management for the Creative Person — because IT’S AN ISSUE. I’m praying Ritalin will be a silver bullet to the root of the problem, but helping me help myself is also cool. An enormous, obvious step I’ve just taken is simply realizing how long things take. If you had asked me one month ago to consider the amount of time necessary to compose and send an email, my sincere instinctual response would have been, “zero seconds.” Think, click, BAM. Nay, my friends. Why didn’t I realize this until now?
By the way, I sold out. Due to crushing page views I’ve decided to monetize the site. I am now an Amazon Affiliate, so I might get cash-money if my homies buy something I link to. It’s a nice fit, considering half of this blog is me shouting out my reading list. Also, I really wanted the music widget in my sidebar.
Recommended Reading for Basic Cartooning
I attended the first session of my cartooning course at the School of Visual Arts and it was hell-yeah useful. The great benefit of being a drawtard like me is the utter sense of revelation that accompanies every new piece of information. You all can’t go to class with me, but I’ll share the recommended reading list. This isn’t the syllabus; it’s just a supplement.
